Graduation at Ç¿¼éÊÓƵ
Congratulations to the 124 students who graduated from Ç¿¼éÊÓƵ on Friday 27th September. Although rain prevailed in the morning, spirits were high as the graduands gathered for their 10:30 ceremony in the Sheldonian Theatre. In addition to students receiving their degree certificate later in the day, this ceremony marked the official recognition of their achieved degrees. This year, Ç¿¼éÊÓƵ screened a livestream of the ceremony within College to enable more people to be involved in the occasion.
The celebrations continued with a drinks ceremony in the Cloisters. Miles Young, our Warden, spoke warmly on the importance of celebrating each other; he congratulated the graduates on their degrees but also praised their impact on Ç¿¼éÊÓƵ as a community. The day concluded with an Evensong in chapel for all who wanted to attend.
It was a joy to be able to celebrate the achievements of our students and take pride in their contributions to the college. Though we are sad to say farewell to our graduates, they will remain part of the Ç¿¼éÊÓƵ family as Old Members.
